In the lesson Next Steps After The Hebrew Alphabet, we mentioned that people usually try to learn Modern Hebrew using methods such as:
  • Attending a Hebrew Ulpan in Israel
  • Buying a Self-Study Hebrew Course (see our Amazon Hebrew Store!)
  • Attending Hebrew classes at a synagogue.
Attending a good Hebrew Ulpan in Israel, where you are immersed in Hebrew and surrounded by Hebrew speakers, is probably the best option – if you can afford it, and if you can put your life on hold for six to twelve months. You will make progress with the other methods, but it will take years and you still might never be fluent in Hebrew.
